Join Mary Immaculate Parish as we journey through the Mass and learn about more about each portion of our liturgy. Bring your family and enjoy a night spent together!
Our Pastor, Msgr. David Cox, will preside. Throughout the Mass, Monsignor will take time to explain certain Mass parts and emphasize the WHY behind our ancient liturgy.
The Teaching Mass will have a youthful flair as our 7/8 grade PSR class and Catechists will serve as Liturgical Ministers. This Mass will be filled Mary Immaculate youth as all of our PSR students and catechists will attend.
Par Lehr, Director of Religious Education (DRE) at MI, is excited for the Parish to hold a Teaching Mass. "Our 7/8th grade PSR students and catechists will have a chance to serve the Parish as lectors, altar servers, ushers, and gift bearers." The focus of the Mass will be on our Baptismal Call and Being Sent as Disciples. "It is through our Baptism we have the grace to carry out our mission here on earth and embrace our Baptismal roles as Priest, Prophet and King," Lehr said.
