Altar & Rosary Society
Meets: Dates and Locations Vary, 7:00 PM
Co-Presidents: Marsha Ordonio & Kathy Westhoff
Funeral Dinners: Mary Kay Crnic
All women in Mary Immaculate/St. Rose parish are members of Altar and Rosary. Our group assists the parish by funding the purchase of altar linens, communion supplies and candles, coordinating priests' dinners for Lenten and Advent reconciliation, assisting at parish events, facilitating the Rosary prior to weekend Masses, and caring for communion linens. We welcome all to attend our quarterly meetings, where we pray the Rosary, hold a short business meeting, and have a short program or speaker. Annual dues of $15.00 support all of our projects and may be paid at any time via the collection basket, by mail to Mary Wolken, Parish bookkeeper, or by dropping at the Parish Center.

Looking for fellowship with other Catholic men? Curious about the Knights of Columbus?
The Knights of Columbus is a charitable organization, with $185.6 million in donations and 75.6 million hours of service provided worldwide, including KofC charities specifically aiding refugees and victims of natural disasters. Nationwide, they are major supporters of crisis pregnancy centers, helping fund the purchase of ultrasound machines. Recently, our local Knights presented a gift of $700 to Lifeline Pregnancy Help Clinic in Kirksville (photo above: Grand Knight Ken Ziegler presents a check to Kathryn Crane of Lifeline). They also partner with other global charities, such as Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity.
The Knights of Columbus here at Mary Immaculate meet monthly on the second Thursday. Here in our parish they help with various work projects and are probably best known as the hosts of our annual Lenten Friday fish fries. If you would like to volunteer with the Knights, or just have questions, Please contact Grand Knight Ken Ziegler or catch him at the next fish fry!
